The pools are defined by the Brazilian Regulatory Standard, NBR 9816/1987 as set of
facilities for aquatic activities, comprising fuel tank and other components related to their use and operation. For evaluating water samples were collected from different public swimming pools, being the same identified by numbers each pool received a number, namely, 1 sample from the pool 1, sample 2, from the pool, and 2, 3 sample from the pool 3.The collections were made in accordance with the schedule of each club provided by responsible. It was possible to observe the presence of floating materials strangers in 1 and 2 sample and the presence of silt in cracks of 3 sample tiles. In all three cases it was possible to verify the lack of security in the physical structure of public pools. The pools analysed showed worrying structure problems, because the elderly and children attend the local and may get hurt while trying to climb stairs broken and if cut in broken tiles.
