Resumo:
The subject of this study is the supervisory action in public schools belonging to the 10th Teaching Region headquartered respectively in the city of Sousa - Paraíba. The intention here is to analyze the educational practice of this professional activity in the socio-political and economic context of Brazilian society. In this sense, educational supervision, as traditionally exercised, has been a strong ally of the government for the fulfillment of its political and educational purposes. However, in the current moment of transformation because Brazilian society and education passes, the school community in general, and educational supervision in particular, seek in the movement of their action and reflection, to review their pedagogical practice, shifting the axis of their individual action for the collective, the social and the global when addressing the issue of teaching and learning so that it can effectively contribute to a transformative educational work. In this way, we as a student of the VII period of the Pedagogy course of the Teacher Training Center of the Campus V. Reflecting on the question proposed above becomes relevant as it seeks to understand, classify.
