Here, we intend to analyze the educational practice of this professional activity in the socio-political and economic context of Brazilian / Ceará society. Our interest in the supervisory function in that region of teaching originated from studies and discussions held in the classroom. This aroused our desire to seek more substantial information on the practice of Supervision and on the difficulties that supervisors encounter in developing their work, as we know that this practice occurs in an educational system that presents several difficulties. However, in the current moment of transformation that Brazilian society and education is going through, the school community in general, and Educational Supervision in particular, seeks, in the movement of its action and reflection, to review its pedagogical practice, shifting the axis of its individual steel for the collective, the social and the global, when dealing with the issue of teaching-learning
