Resumo:
The Curve key is a great tool in the management of water resources, for the same supports for the management of rational use of water. This work had by objective to build the flow rating curves through direct measurements and data recorded by the National Water Agency (ANA) in a gaging station in the basin Piancó-Piranhas-Açu (BHPPA). In developing the study the following steps were taken: quota data collection and flow with the ANA in the HIDROWEB database and the same parameters collected from the Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP), it built the key curves using the data collected. From the results, it was observed that the methodologies used to carry out the adjustment proved satisfactory, with the coefficient for determining (R2) from the curves of 0.997. Research has shown to be of great importance, since it was possible to evaluate the flow behavior in various quota levels. Allowing the best scaling reservoirs in the region and better quantification and allocation of water given the multiple uses of water. Thus resulting in better management of water systems.
