The Industrial Districts if they characterize for a varied collection of enterprises, which aim for the expansion of the local productive system like the form of producing jobs and of stimulating the social, economical and technological development, causing environmental impacts under the physical, biological ways and socioeconomic of a determined town. The local authority of Dovecote – PB at present survives the process of introduction of the Industrial District in the city limits. The objective of this work detected the environmental impacts and he diagnosed the influence resulting from this introduction, just as, he proposed measures of environmental control that they aim to ease and / or to reduce the provoked environmental impacts. In the realization of the study there were defined the main equivalent activities to be carried out by the undertaking, as well as the environmental diagnosis of the area of influence. For the identification of the environmental impacts in the phases of projection, introduction and operation, there were used the methods of evaluation of environmental impacts: Check List and Womb of interaction. In the results 33 environmental impacts were identified, being a 79 % negative and 21 % positive. The negative impacts were determined specifically in the physical environment and biotic for the phase of introduction of the undertaking. Regarding the positive impacts, they were outstanding in the environment anthropic for the operation phase. The measures of environmental control were indicated for all the environmental impacts, with emphasis in the degradation of the biodiversidade and damages to the human health resultant forces of the industrial activities, guaranteeing that the effects of the impacts should be least, promoting sustainable development.
