Abstract:
Water scarcity is a fact that affects different regions in the world for many reasons such as predatory use of water resources, uncontrolled increase of the population, misuse of water and the increase of polluting activities. The study was conducted at the Federal University of Campina Grande Campus Pombal - PB, which aimed to quantify and evaluate the rainwater quality and white water distillers compared to the water volume and quality consumed by the water utility in order to provide for the possibility of reuse. The Laag laboratory was used to carry out this work on accessibility issues and the development of the research were made physical chemical and bacteriological analysis. The results of the analyzes demonstrated that the quality of the effluent was sufficient to various non-potable purposes without treatment. We conclude that, in general, the water from the reuse of this work have significant relevance, both quantitatively as its economic viability.
