Abstract:
Since work has become central to people's lives, the relationship of man with his work
activity has been discussed in science. Human work and fulfillment are directly related, since
each person has at work a fundamental part of his essence and reason for living. In this
context, the objective was to analyze the types of inequalities that are present in the labor
relations that occur in the company environment and how managers can act in the face of
these problems. The methodology was conducted through qualitative descriptive research,
which analyzed the processes of inequality that occurs at work. Documentary data were found
on websites such as the World Labor Organization (ILO), electronic journals and reports. As a
result it was found that non-white individuals have, on average, lower yields than white
individuals. Already the percentage of the population with the highest income is around 75%
are white and 25% black or brown. Women's pay gap is up to 30% less than men's, even
though it accounts for 51.5% of the Brazilian population, they make up only 43.8% of the
workforce. The final considerations understand how important it is to combat these
inequalities, so that companies can look for a more inclusive look as part of their
responsibilities. Having a diverse team benefits the organization in relation to its growth and
profitability and improves the relationship with the market, its suppliers and customers.
