Abstract:
Sustainable HRM (GSP) involves balancing the activities of an organization, taking into
account the environmental, economic and social aspects, with internal and external employees, which can enable the achievement of corporate sustainability. The general objective of the research was to analyze the Sustainable HRM in civil construction (CC) in João Pessoa/PB, based on the structuring of the GSP_CC model. Characterized as qualitative, of exploratory character, the first stage referred to the bibliographic study and systematic review of the literature through software. The remaining 4 stages took place through documentary and content analysis, as well as descriptive statistics. The differential of connecting the GSP to stakeholders in the supply chain made it possible to structure a new model, considering the phases of adaptation, validation and application with specialists and companies. As a result, two of the three propositions were confirmed, one of them partially and the another was refuted. Of the fifteen participating construction companies, seven have people management with an average contribution to sustainability, and six with high, which shows that the sector in the city has integrated sustainability in its actions, but still in an incipient way (indicators). The fact that
GSP is emerging reveals a greater tendency to apply the model in the SSQVT and T&D
subsystems. This work contributes to academia and professionals in the field in a pioneering way, with a model that can be used in later studies, as well as adapted and applied to other sectors of the economy, and in different countries.
