Resumo:
With high rates of health problems related to improper forms of work, ergonomics appear as a viable solution for better operator fit in the workplace. However, many workplaces remain inadequate and can cause illness or discomfort in their employees. In this context, the objective of this research is to make the ergonomic diagnosis of a confectioner's workplace. To collect the information, the OWAS method was used to allow understanding of the ergonomic situation faced, for noise and luminance analysis, the decibel meter and the lux meter to evaluate the ambient temperature. A questionnaire was applied to the operator. Data collection was performed observing, in the act, the collaborator who performed his tasks. For image processing and data interpretation, Ergolândia version 7.0 software was supported. The results show that the workplace presents ergonomic hazards for the operator, which directly influence the increased risk of accidents and musculoskeletal problems and the physical hazards related to lighting below those permitted by the regulatory standard.
