Resumo:
Maintenance Management is of great importance in civil construction due to the high mechanization of this branch, the long working hours to which machines are subjected and the diversity of equipment that is used. In this sense, this paper has objective the development of a maintenance plan for a construction machine, responsible for the concrete manufacture, the concrete mixer. Firstly, a literature review was made to understand the concepts related to the theme and study the modes, causes and effects of failures, the fault trees were then built to determine the root causes and finally the FMEA was elaborated to assess the Risk Priority Number and to determine what actions should be taken to minimize the faults. Thus, it was possible to identify the root causes and solve them through the elaboration of SOPs and the proposed maintenance period, reaching the main results: the cost reduction with corrective maintenance, increase of equipment reliability and availability and, consequently, improvement customer service level.
