Saúde na perspectiva de direitos: concepções de usuários(as) e profissionais do Hospital Regional de Cajazeiras/PB .

Abstract

Health as a social right was implemented in the Federal Constitution of 1988, fruit of intense struggles and a conquest of the working class. The Unified Health System (SUS) and the principles that guide it materialize this achievement. However, given the conditions of the historical conjuncture, social rights have been the subject of a constant process of deregulation, precariousness and privatization. Users and professionals of this policy, as fundamental subjects in their materialization, live these aspects daily. In view of this, the present research seeks to elucidate the conceptions of these two groups about health and its effectiveness in light of the rights, aiming the analysis of these conceptions, in order to understand it beyond the conception of health-disease. It seeks to understand the identification of the main difficulties encountered by the users, the knowledge about how they materialize by the professionals, as well as the understanding of how the aspects of the process of precariousness of health policy are presented in the reality of these subjects. The research is of the exploratory field type, using the qualitative approach, the critical-dialectical method and interview technique in the structured format, having as form for data collection the form. The research site is the Regional Hospital of Cajazeiras (HRC), located in the city of Cajazeiras, in the state of Paraíba. The findings of the research demonstrate that the subjects have diverse and multidimensional conceptions about the concept of health, that the difficulties listed by professionals in the materialization of this right are related to issues related to the resources for the system as well as aspects of the institution itself, revealing that although the achievements in this policy have been great, there is still much to be achieved.
