Resumo:
The disorderly growth of the vehicle fleet in the world has caused immeasurable road phenomena. In particular, in Brazil, from 2009 to 2019 there was a growth of approximately 80% of the existing vehicle fleet in the country of various categories. All this increase has caused an intense flow of vehicles in the existing road networks in the country, which in return only offers about 12% of its existing paved network. Based on the data obtained, it appears that the reflection of this increase has caused premature deterioration of the pavements due to increased flow and overloading of heavy vehicles. Thus, the appearance of pathologies on the surface of the pavements has occurred early making the inspection, inspection, control and maintenance of the highways more difficult. The objective was then the use of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) as an aid tool for pavement inspection in view of the low cost of operation and high efficiency. Thus, two sections of two federal highways are part of the object of study showing and proving the occurrence of the facts and the efficiency of the method.
