For the reduction of time and costs in a construction work of a residential building, the Gantt Chart was applied along with the Aggregate Production Planning, which includes decision making and allocation of employees in relation to the construction stages. Once these tools are directly linked to PPC, it was firstly worked on the duration planning of the work and its feasibility in order to eliminate unnecessary costs and idle labor. A Gantt Chart was developed exceptionally aimed to the civil construction, with flexibility to adapt in any type of small construction work. The use of this tool was coupled with the allocation of employees aiming at the best way of working for greater productivity and effectiveness of the work. After all the adaptations, the total costs of residential construction were developed, for both labor and material costs used for its completion. With this work, a reduction of costs and time in the applied site was obtained generating reliability and allowing the expansion of the thought for future construction works of small and large sizes.
