Abstract:
The present study is subject Pedagogical practices of the teacher of geography in
high school. Faced with the reality questioned about the instruments used in teaching
geography education have opted to study the experiences and practices experienced
by educators in the State School of Elementary and Secondary Education Teacher
Crispim Rabbit City Cajazeiras-PB. The aim of the study is to identify practices of
educators geography in high school. Characterize the methodologies used by
teachers, the methodology correlate with specific content and check the use of
technological resources in geography lessons. The research investigated teachers
and students of high school in three shifts (morning, afternoon and evening), with
regard to the pedagogical practices of the teacher's teaching geography. Thus the
first chapter provides an analysis on the teaching of geography from the Jesuits to
the present day. So try to present in a clear and contextualized content of the
discipline of geography "under " different points. In the second chapter we present
the methodological approach in the search for a better explanation and
understanding of the objects under study. The methodology of the case study, the
research subjects, and finally the instruments of data collection. The third chapter
presents the stories of educators and students, followed by the conclusions. Thus we
conclude that the teacher is crucial in the process of teaching and learning, and
should look for ways to extend the methodologies to teach the contents of
geography. Depending on the teaching methodology that it uses can provide creative
and dynamic class that can awaken in students studying the moments of pleasure.
The professor must be rethinking their practice, as will be contributing in the
formation of citizens more aware and critical.
