Resumo:
In the late of XIX and early of XX century, Brazil had a modernization process coming from
European influences, these transformations were decisive for a new urban and social space
building, a reform in large centers occurred, as well as in inner cities, as happened in
Cajazeiras. In this social context, the seduction crimes insert and characterized a crime apart
with the Criminal Code reformulation in 1940, differently from 1890 Code. Therefore, this
research aims to understand how these crimes came to be in Justice, and how these processes
ended up happening. The chosen temporary frame, the 1950 decade, was selected because in
this period Cajazeiras experienced the main modernity and urban growth transformations,
besides, it was the decisive period for the new Criminal Code consolidation. Knowing how
men and women human being transited in this space and related affectionately together is our
main purpose. The record used for this objective is crime processes archived in Forum Dr.
Ferreira Junior in Cajazeiras, as well as readings of authors who dedicated themselves to
gender concept studies and its various branches.
