Abstract:
This study is about a helpful administrative tool's development that optimizes the ordering process in a savory snacks factory in the city of Feira Nova - PE. The research is based on a theoretical knowledge about the Engineering Methods. In order to accomplish the research was made the use of the PDCA cycle as base for an action plan, aiming to the continuous improvement of processes that somehow might be embarassing the enterprise's development due to recurring mistakes. Also, as support for the PDCA, tools as: Flowchart and SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) were used. The taken action plan was the development of a tool that could help the enterprise at the ordering process, known as handmade and likely to mistakes one. To develop the tool, knowledge from Software Engineering concepts were used as a base to the construction of software. For the development of the tool as well as the creation of the graphical interface, the Microsoft Access software was used with the programming language VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for the writing of feature codes. The reached result was the creation of entertaining windows with the main functions related to the accomplishment of the ordering process for distribution centers. Only by doing so, was it possible to enhance the ordering/requesting processes as on thr main focus of the study, creating a more practical way and systematic of an activity that was before handmade and required a long time to finish besides recurring errors. Bearing in mind that there's a great technology growth by enterprises nowadays, the old method is known as scarce and outdated.
