Abstract

The study addresses a theme on urban visual pollution. This pollution that is present in higher concentration in large cities, causing damage to both the population and the environment. Visual pollution is considered excessive information related to visual communication such as announcements, advertisements and exposed plates in urban environments, this way, this work aims to identify and analyze visual pollution present in the Streets Argemiro de Sousa and Colonel Francis of Assisi, located in the city of Pombal-PB as a source of visual and spatial discomfort of people who move there, showing that the main problem is not the existence of the adsoradvertisements but rather your lack
