Abstract:
This study aimed to analyze the perspectives of teachers on the process of
classroom reading. The research universe corresponded to five teachers from the School
Municipal Elementary School Celestino Gomes de Sa, from the city of Sao Jose da Lagoa
Tapada - PB. The research had an exploratory character based on an approach
quantitative-qualitative. We use the questionnaire as a resource for data collection
containing open and closed questions. In addition, the work provided opportunities for
studies with teachers on the process of teaching Reading We see with this
study that the teachers demonstrated theoretical foundation on the tenia, however still
experience difficulties in the teaching-learning process of reading at school, since students
said that they did not develop the teaching of these skills in a
awareness of some difficulties encountered at school, such as:% lack of material
didactic and favorable environment for the development of this process. Therefore, providing the
taste and pleasure of reading in the individual, still remains, one of the multiple challenges
faced by schools. In this way, we work on thematic reading, aiming to provide
spontaneous and efficient practices, stimulating satisfactory learning, promoting
thus, the training of conscious, critical and participatory readers.
