Resumen:
This research aims to discuss the challenges experienced by teachers in the
process of training readers. Seeking methodological theoretical subsidies and proposing
pedagogical reading practices that emerge in the subject the need and the desire to read.
The research included the participation of eight teachers from the first phase of teaching
who teach on the morning shift, at EMEIF Antonio Lacerda Neto, municipality of
Sao Jose de Piranhas - PB. We used the questionnaire to collect data, after
its application we started to carry out our internship, promoting meetings with the subjects of
search. We show that they face numerous challenges, with emphasis on
for the lack of didactic material, lack of interest of the servants - and also of the students,
parental participation, the double, and often even triple, workday in which the
teacher is subjected due to wage devaluation. Based on the above, we believe in
possibility to contribute to reflect on teaching practice and the challenges experienced,
enabling access to new theoretical knowledge that contributes to training
more solid, discussing new work alternatives that favor facing or even
veneer such challenges, privileging the critical and conscious training of the reader, enabling a
awakening to a more just and egalitarian society.
