Resumo:
This work had as main objective discussing the impacts caused by the use of audiovisual, this language/resource (movie) where information/content is dynamically arranged, in Sociology classes in High School.As specific objectives, we sought to investigate how audiovisual resources are used in Sociology classes; analyze how these resources contribute to the teaching-learning process and propose pedagogical strategies using audiovisual. This study/pedagogical intervention was developed at the State School of Secondary Education Maria Balbina Pereira, located in the district of Santa Luzia do Cariri, municipality of Serra Branca, with students from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades of High School. The adopted methodology relied on the qualitative-participant observation approach choosing as instruments of data collection and intervention the following: 1) observation in the classroom, 2) interview based on focus group, 3) discussion with the students about the sociological themes, choice and exhibition of movies. For data analysis we adopted the Bardin content analysis method (ANO). The study was mainly based on the theories of the authors Galetti (2013), Kenski (2007), Ferreira (2010), Rosalia Duarte (2009), Adriana Fresquet (2017), Libanêo, (2013), among others that significantly collaborated to make the theoretical contribution of this work, as well as, for our understanding on the importance of using audiovisual resources for the teaching of Sociology in High School. At the end of the experience, we point out that the language/audiovisual resource contributes to the teaching-learning process, as well as, to the socialization of the individuals and their ability to learn fractions of the real in audiovisual narratives, thus sharpening the critical view and the logic of perceiving, problematizing and interfering in the social world.
