Resumen:
Entrepreneurship has developed a lot in the last years, which justifies the growing academic production, especially about the behavioral indicators of entrepreneurship, which are understood as fundamental for the growth and success of the business. This study has as objective the development of entrepreneurial characteristics in micro-entrepreneurs in the city of Campina Grande - PB. In order to contemplate the general objective, a quantitative and descriptive approach was adopted, with a research application. The data was collected in the form of questions with the Lenzi (2008) based on Cooley (1990) and McClelland et al (1987) studies, and answered by 50 and, computed with the software Microsoft Excel. The survey identified that the profile of the respondents is composed mostly of female managers, married, with ages between 21 and 30 years of age, with the second degree of complete schooling. The indicators point out that, as potential factors of persistence, commitment and independence and self-confidence appeared in greater prominence among the owners of clothing stores, while as characteristics of goal and information search, as the least manifested in the respondents.
