application of questionnaires before and after the pedagogical interventions, which were
constituted in theoretical classes on the formation, composition, constitution and organisms of the soil, video documentary exhibition on the ground, geotinta workshop (earthen paint) and Presentation of the puppet theater (Solo Theater). Initially the understanding of the students was incipient, but after the interventions the results showed more understanding about the subject. The methodologies allowed greater interaction between students and understanding of the contents worked. It is concluded that the use of dialogical and innovative methodologies allow greater attention and participation of the students and these should be better explored in teaching practice for the popularization of soil education, aiming at environmental conservation and the formation of a more conscious and sustainable society.
