Resumo:
This work aims to report how Sexual Orientation comes to be
constituting at Maria Candido de Oliveira School, of the Elementary School of
city of Cachoeira dos indios - PB. In this sense, the investigation was carried out
from the reports issued by the teachers, aiming to probe the degree of
knowledge they have about the proposed theme. Discourse analysis
investigated cover the following aspects: the factors that prevent the
addressing issues related to sexuality; which subsidies
used to address this theme in the classroom, knowledge of PCN's.
To provide theoretical support for the issues presented here, a wide range of
bibliography produced by scholars who excel in the subject. At
information obtained allowed us to realize that among the reasons presented
for the non-inclusion of the Sexual Orientation theme in schools, the target of the research,
this is the difficulty of expression and knowledge of teachers about the
issues related to sexuality.
