Resumen:
The Specific Hypertensive Syndrome of Pregnancy (SHSP) is a disease whose tensional
levels rise during pregnancy reaching i f not diagnosed and not treated early to death. This
research is directed to the attention on SHSP and its most common symptoms and the care
provided to these pregnant. The present study aims to observe the nursing care of pregnant
carrier of hypertensive disorders in the Maternity Dr. Deodato Cartaxo in city Cajazeiras-PB,
the existing complications and observe the care plans developed by nurses to these pregnant.
It is a descriptive field study with a quantitative approach, the sample is composed of 10
nurses working in the maternity Dr. Deodato Cartaxo in the city Cajazeiras-PB. It is important
to mention that the instrument for data collection to be used was a questionnaire. Thus we
seek to evaluate the care of pregnant with these SHSP in the municipality of Cajazeiras-PB.
Upon completion of my collection and doing analysis and research results, it was observed
that nurses possess technical and scientific knowledge about the HDP, but their assistance is
very limited to signs and symptoms. The humanization process, seeing the patient as a whole,
in a holistic way is not very practiced in Motherhood.
