Résumé:
School planning is understood as an activity that assumes the knowledge of the dynamics of the teaching-learning process and the external conditions that determine its effectiveness. It is necessary to think of planning as a guide, as a guiding instrument that requires many skills, including the humble awareness of knowing that we need each other. Planning presupposes the constant review and reflection of proposals and actions, and must be flexible, which implies organizational work on the part of the educator. Planning is a fundamental activity for the enrichment of the didactic and methodological process of teaching practice. Visiting the José Leite State Elementary School in Conceição-PB, through informal conversations with the teachers, I realized the difficulties they encountered during the planning activity. Educational development must be developed in order to contribute to the teaching-learning process, as it is a subject that must always be present in the teaching action and is part of the educator's daily reflection.
