to the new body, is a time of new attitudes front of life. If we add all of this to the
pregnancy significance, of personal, social and family viewpoints, we will understand
like the gestation can be a hard event to the teenage. The high number of pregnant
teenagers at schools, the suffering due about this situation to them, to their families, also
to the teachers, whose training professional seems insufficient to enable them deal
around the social problem about teenage pregnancy. Hie main goal of this final project
of course was analyse the nurse care from of mother's vision in postpartum period. Also,
it was tried to trace the socio-economic profile of the teenagers mothers; learn about the
expectations of teenagers in relation of the care that they received in maternity at
hospitalization moment to labor assistance and their experience during the time that
they remained hospitalized; describe the experiences of the teenagers during the
prenatal period; relate the assistance provided with experiences of the teenagers before
birth, and verify if the teenagers were educated about the childbirth, and what kind of
support was provided during the postpartum period. The research was
exploratory/descriptive, and the data collection was performed at Maternity Dr. Deodato
Cartaxo, at Cajazeiras's Regional Hospital, the criterion of choice was based on realities
from local, one time that to an hospitalar ambient that receives a considerable demand
of pregnant teenagers, coming from Cajazeiras and from the next cities that do not
provide physical support and structure to accommodate these people who need care.

also objective. Also highlight that humanization practice allows the active participation
of nurses in the process the labor, labor and birth, providing, fundamentally, satisfaction
to the mother, once the pregnancy and childbirth are outstanding events in their lifes and
from their families. The results of this study are subsidies for a reflection about labor
and humanized births, also to rethink the strategies to be used in pregnant women in this

institution is able to progress, expand and consolidate the humanized model care to
woman in her pregnant cycle, implementing a new form of management in his services,
encompassing, in mis assistance, not only nurses, but also the entire health team who
assists the mother in the labor period.
