Abstract:
Family Health and the fundamental basis of Primary Care, and work in Health
Publica must involve activities of professionals from different areas of the
knowledge that act according to their specific knowledge, constituting a
essential tool for holistic care and comprehensive care,
thus, joint professional performance becomes essential, through the
connotation of work in family health, which demands attention
multi-professional. Having the joint professional performance with a view to an attention
multifocal, the Ministry of Health establishes work in primary care as
multidisciplinary team, where care is provided in a comprehensive manner, through joint action
of doctors, nurses, technicians, dentists and community health workers.
Based on such data, the present study aimed to investigate the care provided
multidisciplinary approach within the Family Health Strategy through the perception
professionals as active subjects in the process, using a research
exploratory and descriptive study with a quantitative approach to the data
found a large deficit in this area and that there are problems unrelated to the condition
that interfere in the performance of a multidisciplinary work, such as and the
case of the lack of materials and the work overload of professionals, however,
what was clearly observed and that it depends a lot on the active subjects of the
change process so that the work within the scope of the FHS is really
made effective through the established premises.
