Resumen:
The present work started with the study of school failure, and its objective was
research, investigate and analyze aspects related to your problem in the initial series
Vicente Felizardo Vieira Elementary School, located in the District of
Felizardo, municipality of Ipaumirim, in the state of Ceara. Taking as a basis
theoretical, some authors such as: Jose Carlos Libaneo, Selma Garrido, Jussara Hoffmann,
Içami Tiba, David Fontana, among others, who will contribute to the development
this theme. For the development of the research, interviews were conducted with
students, being a qualitative and quantitative research, these being the type
semi-structured started informal conversations with some of the students. To the
recorder was used to collect the material, and then the transcripts of the
Dice. The supervised internship was also part of the methodological process, as the
even provides understanding, questioning and problematizing the theme in question, showing
how and the teaching practice and, with that, realize the real problems that provide the
school failure of the students studied here. Upon completing this work, it is clear that
there is not a single "culprit" for school failure. However, and arguing,
studying and researching, that new theories can be created capable of giving greater
subsidies along with ancient theories to solve such a problem. In this
perspective, the collection of data from this research is a source of resources that
gave possibilities for building solutions that will help students to
develop and thus do not give up their studies, thereby avoiding evasion,
providing opportunities and possibilities for discussion and building answers for a
more effective learning, keeping the student studying and learning. avoiding
continuity of school failure.
