Abstract:
The indiscipline, school theme has occupied space in discussions between teachers,
pedagogical managers and coordinators, being one of the most frequent complaints and a
major difficulties encountered in the interpersonal relationship between students and
teachers. This monograph raises the following question: how does the
indiscipline presents itself in the classroom and what are its causes? To answer us
we will use the following objectives: to analyze causes and effects that indiscipline generates in
school, specifically in the classroom; identify reasons that make students
become undisciplined and analyze conflicts generated by lack of discipline. To the
elaboration of the theoretical framework we used the following authors: Vasconcellos (2009,
P. 122); Tiba (2006, p. 15); Devries and Zan (1997, p. 130); Fernandez (2005, p.74), among
others. The monograph is divided into three chapters: in I we present a discussion
theoretical approach aimed at understanding indiscipline was the classroom, its causes, effects
and understanding the countless challenges experienced by everyone involved in the action
educational. In I I we have the methodological procedures in which we highlight the
instruments for data collection: observations of teaching practice, semi-interview
structured and notes in the field notebook; contextualization of the field and
participants, as well as the importance of the researcher-participant relationship. In I II
chapter we have the data analysis: listening, recording and reflecting, moment when
we try to apprehend what the research participants understand by indiscipline and what
score as causes of this in the classroom. The data obtained led us to the following
consideration: indiscipline in the classroom occurs for different reasons: factors
related to intra and extra school aspects; living with the family if it is experienced
aversively with the absence of rules and limits and the lack of pedagogical work
differentiated by the teacher.
