Resumo:
This paper analyzes the Quality of Work Life (QWL) and Quality o: Life (QL) of
professionals working in community mental health services of Cajazeiras - PB (CAPS
II, CAPS ad and CAPS i). As for the methodological course, this is a descriptive study
in the form of survey with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 42
workers, respectively, 18 CAPS II, 14 CAPS ad and 10 CAPS i. Data collection was
performed by applying two questionnaires: one to identify socioeconomic, and
professional evaluation of the quality of work life, and another evaluation of the
quality life WHOQOL-bref, fulfilling the principles of Resolution 196/96. Data analysis
was performed from the simple static, descriptive scores and scores cf software by
Microsoft Excel 2007. After identifying the profile socioeconomic and professional, it
was found that professionals who work at CAPS are presented mostly: (64,3%)
women, (35,7%) are between 31 and 40 years, (47,7%) married, (52,4%) post
graduates, 19% monitors and, (14%) nurses, (50%) effective server and (50%)
employed, 38% work between 31 and 40 hours weekly and 80,9% recei/e between 1
and 4. Of the eight criteria of QWT, six were positive and satisfactory Two criteria
had negative outcome "fair and adequate compensation" and "Opportunities in the
Workplace". Positivity was observed also in the areas of results of svaluation of
quality of life (physical, psychological, social relationships and environnent), where
the means ranged between 60.28 and 76.9. Dissatisfaction was a financial downside
seen in QWL and QL. However, it was possible, through study, that both the quality
of work life (QWL) and Quality of Life (QL) showed positivity in their results, showing
satisfactory indicators and important in developing strategies to strengthen the
growth of services substitutive mental health, community mental health services, and
especially the improvement of professional and personal life of the workers involved
in these services.
