Educational policies in the struggle for water preservation, although they have
perfected over time, still present distortions that are configured in a
real problem both for community life and school life. THE
The option for the study was motivated, in the beginning, by the desire to discover how
school makes children aware of the struggle for water preservation, later
to represent the need for a more specific analysis encompassing the water relationship,
society and education. It is a qualitative research carried out with
fourth grade students. All the work done through the
Data collection started from the following instruments: systematic observation, interview
semi-structured, test class and memorandum documents (field diary and portfolio);
was based on the studies of Caubet, Farias, Santos and Costa. Thus, the objectives of this
work were: to analyze the students' knowledge about the educational policies of
water preservation and further emphasize the importance of water preservation for
future generations and for good quality of life today. The study was relevant
point of view that made it possible to know the way students understand
problems of scarcity of water and poe in practice actions aimed at the preservation of this
very precious. The study's conclusion is that water as a good part of the
humanity is not yet seen with due recognition of its importance and that
there are few theoretical studies and practical actions aimed at their preservation; and
need to understand that water is synonymous with health and good quality of life, deserving
thus more attention from science and society.
