Résumé:
This work presents considerations about the relationship between the
family and school and reflection on the need to awaken the
desire to participate. This research was delineated from the following
questioning: the lack of family participation in school becomes an
obstacle to the learning of 4th grade elementary school students
I? Our hypothesis led us to think that the student who is accompanied by
parents at school have a greater and better performance in their activities
schoolchildren. To answer this question, we elaborated the following
objectives: to investigate whether the students' lack of interest and the lack of participation
at school and reflect the possible consequences for learning
of the student who does not have the participation of the family in his student trajectory. THE
phenomenon of the family-school relationship was discussed based on the following framework:
Carvalho (2004); Moreira (2008); Nicoietti (2009); Ludke & Andre (1980);
Szymanski (1995); among others. We divided this monograph into three chapters;
in the first we bring a theoretical discussion from authors who work
with the theme of family and school, highlighting the possibility of involvement
parents in school activities beyond the time of enrollment. At the
second chapter we have the Methodological Procedure in which we present the
choice of subjects and the field where the research was developed, the
importance of the researcher-researched relationship and the characterization of
institution. In the third we present the analysis of the data, when
we come across the children's statements regarding the participation of their
parents in school life. Finally, we conclude that the family-school relationship needs to
actually happen and for that to be possible and necessary that both
understand their role in the education of children, favoring a
practice focused on monitoring and measures that enable us
we leave theorizations only.
