This work aims to analyze the cognitive development of children
children with regard to teaching math learning in the classroom.
He used observations and interviews as data collection instruments.
In addition to the instruments used for the research, the test class and the
Supervised Teaching Internship in order to experience the school environment. Were
Some research sources such as a portfolio and a
field, produced before and during the stage. These uses of sources of
research aimed at enriching the work. Research sources have
methodological approach in the New Cultural History, which values oral sources
writings, narrations, among others. The research started in a 1st year class, however
the continuity of the same and the internship were carried out in a 4th grade class, in
a school in the public network of Cajazeiras - PB. The research itself referred to the
knowledge about the importance of playfulness in mathematical activities that
students and the teacher acquire. It can be said that the students surveyed did not
have knowledge about the benefits that games, play activities
can provide for your learning. For them. games have only purposes
fun and distraction, not an educational purpose. Even with the difficulties that
public school presents, and it is possible to work differently on mathematics,
contributing to the students' learning. However, for there to be a
compensatory learning, and I need teachers, managers and others
education officials discuss and reflect on education and
importance of the playfulness involved. The Supervised Internship in teaching,
also carried out to continue that work presented
meaningful knowledge and experiences for future teaching practice.
