Abstract:
The present work aims to focus on the development of recreational activities in
initial series of elementary school being used as educational activities
that favor the development of the student in different areas, from the
personal relationships to social relationships. The study conducted here sought to
recognize how such activities are carried out in the school context as well as
understand students' involvement with games and play and the relationship
teacher-student when performing activities. Based on research
case study and taking a qualitative approach, had as instruments of
data collection: interviews, observations, portfolio and field diary, which was
built in the supervised internship period, the last two served as
research source according to the Nova Historia Cultural. Research also
addresses the experiences taken during the period of supervised internship,
highlighting the income acquired from carrying out recreational activities as
present outside the school context that favor the healthy growth of
children. It became clear with the research that the harmony between
concerts and practices, that is, the union of knowledge and doing guided by reflection
and essential for quality teacher training. Given the performance in
classroom was very noticeable the pleasure aroused in the child when the
activities, inside the room, are carried out with a playfulness, as well as the
significant knowledge awakened by such games.
