Résumé:
This monographic study aimed to identify whether the non-participation of parents in
school causes school failure. For the work methodology, we used the approach
qualitative approach focusing on bibliographic and field research to analyze the daily life of a
public school in the municipality of Ipaumirim - CE. As results obtained stand out the
importance of intervention in learning difficulties, as well as the need to
more in-depth studies on the topic. Finally, some contributions are presented
to improve public school education and contribute to its survival today,
hoping it can reduce school dropout and failure.
