Abstract:
The present monographic work presents a brief research on the relationships
ethnic-racial education in the 5th year of elementary school, held at EMEF Professor
Newton Seixas, located in the city of Pombal. The objective was to analyze how
children relate when collective activities are carried out, verifying
thus building their identity and identifying how they develop their
learning in the midst of diversity and still examine the contents worked
in the classroom if there is a fight about prejudice, discrimination,
racism and social inclusion. Thus, subjects that deal with
Ethnic-racial relations and law 10.639 / 03, as well as students' knowledge
of the 5th year of elementary school I, around some main points like
prejudice and discrimination that surround ethnic-racial relations and yet
approached the experiences of the internship with perception of ethnic-racial relations. THE
The research is classified as a case study, carried out with four students in the class,
in a qualitative approach followed by Bardin's content analysis. Used
as instruments of data collection the observation, interview, portfolio and diary of
field based on the perspective of the New Historia Cultura. This study reveals that
when the subject is referred to ethnic-racial issues, this is only noticeable in the middle
when prejudiced attitudes, discriminatory practices and
racists, with that they can perceive the differences that each one has, and
that little and discussed the issue of ethnic racial relations being
incomprehensible to students the ethnic groups according to the textbook.
In short, it is essential to enter into the practice of teaching relations
racial-ethnic groups through the diverse cultures of ethnic-racial groups making
what the law 10.639 / 03 says in elementary education and deconstruct the practices
prejudiced, discriminatory and racist in the school environment from
racial ethnic knowledge.
