Abstract:
This monographic research entitled: Causes and effects of indiscipline in the 4th
year of elementary school I was held at a municipal public school in the
district of lara / CE with five students. This research seeks to answer the following
questioning: what leads students to have behaviors considered
inappropriate in the classroom? It has the following objectives: to identify possible
causes that lead students to be undisciplined and discuss the probable
consequences of indiscipline in the classroom. For the elaboration of referendum I
theoretical based on the following authors: Aquino (1998); Moll (1996); Rebellion
(2002); Moco (2009), among others. The monograph is divided into three chapters
organized in this way: in the first chapter, I present the concept of indiscipline of
some authors who present us with different ways of understanding the
causes and consequences of this theme for the teacher-student relationship and
consequently for the teaching-learning process. In the second chapter,
we have as a methodological procedure, to present the instruments used to
the collection of data that were: classroom observation and interview
half structured; the importance of these two types of instruments for the realization
field research; criteria for choosing the school and the participants. At the
third chapter we highlight the analysis of the data, from the understanding of the
students about indiscipline. We can conclude, even partially, that the
indiscipline puts at risk the accomplishment of a differentiated work in the classroom,
just as it does not favor the teaching-learning process and that this is a
problem that has affected both public and private school institutions. THE
question of indiscipline in the classroom and a topic that has been worrying
educators, challenging scholars of the subject and disturbing the school routine.
We realized, from the statements of the research participants that indiscipline and
caused by factors internal and external to the school and that is urgent
understand the causes and consequences of this for school learning
of 4th grade elementary school students.
