Abstract:
This monograph aims to answer the following question: what leads students
4th grade of elementary school I to practice acts of violence against their
classmates? To answer the guiding question we used the
following objectives: to analyze acts of violence suffered and practiced by students
in the classroom, from their testimonies and identify the main
aspects that contribute to the practice of bullying among students. We use the
following references: Abramovay (2003); Debarbieux and Blaya (2002); Ludke and
Andre (1986); Melo (2010), among others who work with the theme here
proposal for study. The research was carried out using the
following research instruments: observations of teaching practice and
semi-structured interview with five students who live in the city
from Pombal / PB. The monograph is divided into three chapters: the first
chapter I present a discussion of bullying as a very
discussed in the educational field, as well as the consequences caused by
violent acts. In the second, we bring the methodological procedures - the
choice of field and research subjects and the researcher's relationship with the
researched subject. Finally, we present the chapter on data analysis,
which makes us think that the students participating in this research understand the
that is violence practiced and suffered in the classroom, but do not agree
that this is an accepted practice in the school, many feel afraid
when you have to put aside a fight between colleagues and feel
embarrassed when faced with a situation of violence in the classroom
of class. From this research, it was possible to perceive the need to
further deepening on the subject so that we can redirect
our pedagogical work in different classrooms, be they public
or private.
