Resumen:
This work aims to discuss, through a more in-depth study, series of social factors that have stood out within school institutions. Its about prejudices about gender and sex, absorbed still in the family environment and also in the institution education that has generated great inequalities and stereotypes between boys and girls. In view of an objective to be achieved, with the construction of a pedagogical practice not discriminatory and with more prior knowledge on gender and sex, thus being able to contribute in order that the school is a place of coexistence and training for the equality in gender relations, thereby building a more democratic education within the classroom, where educating students can share their differences, respecting the diversity of identity and gender within the school context. Was held at Desembargador Boto school in the city of Cajazeiras specifically in the class of 4th year, the observation and interview process between students, which required obtaining information within the school routine that came to determine the subject or problem of monographic study. The data were analyzed in a qualitative way, being concerned with the interpretation of the phenomenon. In another moment, the supervised internship took place, in a process that required knowledge of the researched school and didactic content so that representativeness of knowledge in teaching students. Although the study points out that gender relations have suffered many changes over time, still prevails in schools and, specifically, within classrooms, the distinction between the sexes, which determine behavioral differences for boys and girls, thus contributing to a need for reflective practices in the school routine. These results contribute to the understanding of the challenging aspects in the school teaching institution, proposing the maintenance and rupture of social gender roles deconstructions and overcoming stereotypes between boys and girls.
