Resumen:
The accompanying monograph examines the practice of educational evaluation in the
context of the classroom in elementary education from the process of teaching and
learning highlighting the importance of the evaluation process in education as well as
tracking the development of knowledge acquisition and ability of the student from the
construction of knowledge. Thus the a im of this work is to provide contributions to the
understanding of the importance of evaluation, since the early years, using the
educational evaluation as a means of stimulating teachers to do this practice as
something meaningful and not tiring. To accomplish this, the research was effected
through a "case study" in which procedures and instruments were used for data
collection, among others, the observation and interviews the subjects of educational
series of elementary school School Bulletin Childhood Education and Elementary. Thus,
the monograph presents itself divided into three chapters, in which contextualizes its
main concepts and ideas to contribute to the practice of the teacher in the classroom, as
well as allowing for the construction of better knowledge of their students, as where, so
the aforementioned school teachers conceive and practice educational evaluation in the
early grades of elementary school students.
