This monographic work has as main objective to build an international profile
between the principle of human dignity and fundamental human rights at national and
international level. Search initially, a historical recap about significance of dignity until
you reach the level of constitutional principle. Then construct a parameter of
interrelation of fundamental human rights and this principle from the development of
fundamental rights throughout history, drawing a parallel with the fundamental rights
contained in the Brazilian Constitution. Have the purpose of revealing to what extent
the protection of fundamental human rights relates to the principle of human dignity
enshrined by the Brazilian legal system, in which rights and guarantees
internationally recognised and guaranteed converge towards the attainment of social
justice and universal citizenship in democratic ideals with inspiration. Realized from
the analysis of abundant literature on the theme that fundamental rights, being
operated directly by the Federal Constitution provide a greater degree of protection to
the same, as are also ensured the means with which citizens who feel harmed in
their rights and, consequently, in his dignity may be used. In the survey were used
