Résumé:
This study discusses the skills of emotional intelligence used by collaborators and leaders of
Wizard teams inserted in the cities of Sousa and Cajazeiras-PB, with the main objective of
classifying Wizard teams according to emotional intelligence competencies. For this, the
concept of emotional intelligence spread by Daniel Goleman was used, which presents the
reasons why more and more emotions are taking on more space in the corporate world and
how individuals, inserted in the labor market, deal with their emotions. This is an exploratory
and descriptive research, since it uses field research to collect data. When conducting the field
research, questionnaires, developed by Carter (2009) to evaluate emotional intelligence
competencies, were applied to employees and leaders of two Wizard units. In comparison to
the two Wizard units, it was possible to notice a perception of the leadership factor of 96.2%
of its management evaluated by its employees, indicating good use of this competence of
emotional intelligence and the application of other skills in everyday activities, above
average, which favors their professional performance.
