Abstract:
Physics teaching has always been the subject of many discussions for a long time with
relation to the teaching and learning process, since many think that teaching
of physics is not significant but outdated and inefficient. In order to try
promote considerable changes, several studies and researches have been and are being
carried out in Brazil. This work aims to present a study carried out with students from a
public high school in the municipality of Barra de Santa Rosa. The goal was to try
understand why there is a rejection of the teaching of physics by students.
For this, questionnaires with objective and subjective questions were applied with students and
also teachers who teach the discipline. The results showed us that there are
many barriers that increase students' distance from the subject of physics, but that at the end of this work we realize that the way of teaching depends on
every day that the educator always looks for updates, to be able to follow the
development of an increasingly technological and interconnected world, thereby circumventing
barriers imposed by diverse problems that probe the learning and the exchange of
knowledge and a challenge that educators have to overcome every day.
