Caracterização e dinâmica da vegetação de caatinga na RPPN Tamanduá-PB, Brasil.

Abstract

The Caatinga biome features in its main features a high heterogeneity physiognomy, referring to a complex comparative analysis. Despite the complexity of its study, the caatinga is surprising in its vast biodiversity and reluctant socioeconomic importance. This study aimed to analyze the structure and floristic composition of the vegetation present and its vegetation dynamics in an area of environmental preservation, after the first survey in 2000. This work was developed in the RPPN at the Tamanduá Farm, located in Paraiba in the city of Santa Terezinha. We conducted a floristic and phytosociological inventory in 48 permanent sample plots distributed systematically at 150 m between plots and 500 m between transects, with areas of 200 m², where all shrub-arboreal subjects achieving inclusion level were measured ≥ 10 cm CAP. Analyzes for the sample, diversity, floristic sufficiency, horizontal and vertical structures dynamic were performed. An increase in the number of individuals greater than 50% was observed. The botanical families in the most representative surveys were Euphorbiaceae and Fabaceae. It was observed for the species Anadenanthera colubrina changes in the numbers from the smaller to the bigger numbers of subjects for classes in diameters. The continued study of forest dynamics in permanent sample plots allows a detailed analysis of the behavior of the population of Caatinga vegetation.
