Abstract

Aiming to collaborate with the transformation in the teaching-learning process, mainly in the practice of literacy, we seek to develop a work proposal - presented in the referred monographic work that would bring a significant contribution, since it proposes that the practice of literacy be seen as a process of construction. Since the purpose of this work is to provide an analysis of the current literacy practice and to propose a change in function of its growth, it was opportune to ask this question based on the constructive line, but especially based on the research provided by Emília Ferreiro, Jean Piaget and others, as well as through readings about the reflections made by people concerned with this problem.
