Resumen:
The present study aimed to know the needs of change in the Internship Curricular Internship in the Course of Administration of the Academic Unit of Accounting Sciences of the Center for Legal and Social Sciences of the Federal University of Campina Grande. For that, initially the concepts about the administrator's training were seen, through the history of the course in Brazil, we also wanted to highlight the profile of the trainee, the skills and competencies desirable to the professional of the
administration. In addition, the definition and current legislation regarding the
internship were considered. In order to reach this goal, basic, qualitative and
documentary research was carried out, characterizing the Pedagogical Project of the Courses of four public higher education institutions of Paraiba with the data collected in the literature. A structured questionnaire was also used, where the teachers' view about the internship in the Administration course, Sousa campus, was verified. It can be concluded that there is a correspondence between the courses. It was also highlighted how these institutions guide the training discipline and conduct it in relation to the conditions and regulations, requirements, monitoring and supervision processes and evaluation criteria. Thus, it is expected that, through what has been exposed, this study can serve as a basis for future discussions regarding the supervised curriculum internship in the training of the administrator.
