Resumen:
Organizational culture is of great importance for the management of organizations, since the
objectives and strategies they adopt are directly related to the employees’ behavior. On the
other hand, employees are also influenced on a daily basis, since they are involved in the
internal issues of the organization for a good amount of time during their day. The objective
of this study was to identify how the employees perceive the elements of organizational
culture inherent in both the integrated culture and the individual culture in the institution they
work in, namely, the Federal Court - Sousa-PB Judicial Branch. To do so, in order to achieve
the objectives initially proposed, a research were developed, which is descriptive and
exploratory (in relation to the purposes), documentary, bibliographical and field (in terms of
means) and qualitative (in terms of form). The research was carried out using a questionnaire
with objective questions. These issues addressed topics related to the valorization and
recognition of the server, teamwork and individual, rules, among other issues. After analyzing
the collected data, it was clear that the institution has a culture focused on individual work,
with little teamwork and little interaction between sectors, besides being slightly resistant to
change. It was also possible to observe that equality, perceived both for internal treatment and
for external treatment, is a strong value of the organization. In addition, it was verified that in
the institution there is appreciation of the server and they are knowledgeable of the rules and
obey them.
