Resumo:
In the face of the enigma posed by the neonate, as the one who speaks nothing, the present work proposes to analyze the particularities of the mothering, sticking to the movement of the baby's entry into the language. For this, we analyze the particularities concerning its constitution as subject and the relevant demarcations of the invoking function of the voice that by bringing the meanings operated by the maternal Other promotes the meeting of the symbolic of the word with the real of the baby`s body. We believe that the manhês and the experience of the lalangue are sound demarcations that enable this experience, and from this, we bring clinical considerations based on a report of experience in the Unidade Mãe Canguru do ISEA – Instituto de Saúde Elpídio de Almeida (Unit of ISEA Institute), at the City of Campina Grande/PB. We consider such elaborations as indispensable to guide the work of the clinician with the enigmatic and fascinating encounter with the word.
