The Quality of Life at Work (QWL) is a factor that recognizes ways of satisfying the
individual with their work, to perform their functions efficiently, in order to achieve
professional and personal goals. The objective of this research was to investigate the quality
of life in the work of the professors of the Administration Course of UFCG Campus
Sousa/PB. Firstly, an overview of the concepts of QWL was made and then the individual's
and the work's aspects were addressed, highlighting the main factors for their satisfaction in
the work environment. Finally, aspects related to teaching work and other points on the
subject were discussed. Facing the theoretical foundation, the quality of life in the work of
UFCG teachers of the Administration course was analyzed. As research methods a field
research was conducted with the teachers through an interview to know what the teachers of
the course of administration think about this subject, putting their opinions and observing
what should be changed so that they can feel satisfied . It is, therefore, a research with a
qualitative approach, of exploratory and descriptive character. Therefore, in view of all these
points above, it is recommended that the institution pay more attention to its teachers,
especially to the Faculty of Administration, heard in this study. The survey revealed teachers'
concerns about some points of the QVT. Some measures are simple, such as encouraging
publication and awarding them. This study presented several insights on the subject. It is
noticed that teachers have different points of view on the subject, satisfactory points and
others unsatisfactory.
