Resumen:
Fashion is directly linked to self-concept by the way it is expressed, so that you
are what you wear, the clothing brings subconscious desires, it is a form of
language that reveals our urges and positions us in front of them, so it may
appear as an interface with psychology. Thus, the research had the objective of
carrying out a narrative bibliographical research about Fashion, Self-concept, as
well as the intersection between both areas. The research was based on the
scientific platforms Scielo and Lillacs. Thus, the literature indicates that from the
present study, it has been realized that fashion can emerge as an interface of
Psychology, in the quest for improving the quality of life through self-concept
and consequently self-esteem.
